sometime kppp locked my keyboard on normal user


i got this problem running kppp on normal user where i keyin root password to get to use kppp
sometime when i successfully online, after a while i cant keyin anything and all my keystrok are pending but after i have exited kppp all the keystrok that i keyin just now funtioning all at once.

i'm using kde 3.1-1 redhat linux 9.

what is wrong?

I know i had this problem.

this especially happens if u run kppp from desktop or Alt+F2 (or the run command thing).

The kppp in redhat is a shell script . U need to find the actual kppp may be in /usr/sbin. check.
then enable suid bit (permissions) for pppd.
