Firstly, i download the VirtualBox 4.2.12 for Windows hosts x86/amd64

Unfortunately, when i finish the installation of centos, it need to reboot.
But when i reboot it, the virtualbox show a message : Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager has stopped working
i just follow http://www.server-world.info/en/note?os=CentOS_6&p=install

Then i use google search. I spend a lot of time on this problem.
And then, i try to use old version -- VirtualBox 4.0.18 for Windows hosts x86/amd64

After install the VirtualBox 4.0.18. I run it and try to install the centos, but i feel the VirtualBox is very slow

Problem:
1. Use VirtualBox 4.2.12 --- When i reboot it, it will show a message : Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager has stopped working
2. Use the old version of VirtualBox 4.0.18 --- Very slow

Some Information:
My computer OS: Windows 7 64bits
My computer RAM: 4GB
Mu computer CPU: i5-2410M 2.3GHz
VirtualBox: VirtualBox 4.2.12 for Windows hosts x86/amd64
VirtualBox 4.0.18 for Windows hosts x86/amd64
VirtualBox setting: Base Memory 1024MB
Centos: CentOS-6.2-x86_64-bin-DVD1.iso

First i would grab the current and supported Cent dvd
CentOS 6.4 is the only supported version ,in the 6 series .
http://mirrors.arsc.edu/centos/6.4/isos/x86_64/


you are two versions and 1 year out of date
and the old CentOS 6.2 repo was moved to the historical "vault"

the repo files in that cent6.2 dvd are useless

you would have to manually edit them to "The Vault"

and even then there are NO updates for 6.2
It is past it's End Of Life"
