Some help again

I have dowonloaded a RPM file. However, it has the 'bin' at the end.
j2sdk-1_4_2_08-linux-i586-rpm.bin

Does the following command install the program?

rpm -ivh 'j2sdk-1_4_2_08-linux-i586-rpm.bin'

I am not sure about the ' .bin ' at the end.

Please tell me the correct command to install the program?

chmod 755 blah.bin
./blah.bin
