So...how are we on NTFS write support now?

ok guys. Finally got SuSE 9.1 to my liking. Its configured for my dual monitors (YAY) and my dual CPUs (more YAY). Its kernel 2.6.4SMP. I was told in a different forum that NTFS wasnt dangerous anymore? well that its said to be, but hasnt proved it?

Also, that we can use WINE to write to NTFS using the ntfs.sys driver from XP/NT?

Whats the truith behind this ?

The stock kernel is still unable to write to NTFS volumes in any safe, useful way.
