snmp help
hey guyz,
i did this.
service snmpd start
then i got hit with this error
env: /etc/init.d/snmpd: No such file or directory
but when i am in the directory i did an ls an i am able to see the snmpd file.
any ideas why is it behaving like this?
i made some modifications to the snmpd file
the #chkconfig i change it to 90 90
i created another snmpd file.. and i copied it over to /etc/init.d. then the command
service snmpd start cannot work anymore. eventhough if i replace it with the old file. it still cannot work. and i also modified the file in /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
btw.. i am running on red hat 9
