Slax remaster + how to configure KDE panel

I am remastering Slax, and have customized some modules, added some modules, etc.

How would I configure the panel in KDE to reflect and show applications that I want in my remaster? For example, I have removed K3b, but the icon still shows on the KDE panel.

Also, how could I add menu items to KDE to reflect applications I have added. For instance, I want to have a menu in KDE called security, that will have icons to security related applications.

Thanks!

Mike
