slackware.. no screen found (startx)


erm well i just reinstalled slackware and when i do startx it says no screen found... any 1 have any idea how to fix it or get into the screen config or what ever please help...

slackware by default does not configure X.. from the command run:

xf86config to configure X....

run as root xf86cfg, after you successfully configure X copy XF86Config file created in your root directory to /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, and type startx.
