Slack 8.1 iso


well everytime i try to make an iso of slack (in windows) then burn it to disc, when i try to use the disc it cant be read..any help would be appreciated.

What cd-burning software are you using? And how are you making an iso? If you download the slackware iso and then use nero to burn the image you shouldn't have any trouble.

is your CMOS set to boot from cdrom? presuming your trying to boot from it and install?

There are also a few cases where 8.1 won't be recognized to boot to. I'd suggest creating boot disks to start the installation.
It explains the process at www.slackware.com on how to create the boot disks.
