Simple way to backup my laptop

I'm trying to figure out an easy way to backup my laptop now. I have an external USB CD burner and wrote most of my /home to cd last weekend, but I want to be able to back up more often and just the files that have changed since last time. I'm thinking CD-RW maybe. I could write a script to mkisofs on all the files that have changed in my /home since last time then write that cd at a specific time say midnight. Don't know what to do it the iso gets bigger than 1 cd though. Anyone have any suggestions/ideas for an easy way?

I rsync all that data in my laptop home directories to my desktop which has a mirror RAID array. That is how I do backups.

Guess I should look at putting a working desktop back together maybe :)
