signaling the user process from kernel


Hi guys...

i am new to the linux kernel hacking...i am trying to signal a user process from kernel ..and i require a fast & reliable signaling mechanism ...
i think kill_proc and others are not reliable.
there is any mechansim available to do this.. i will be thankful for the help...

When you signal a process that process has to have a routine set up to handle the signal. Otherwise the signal is ignored.
