shutdown
 

i want every simple user to have the permission to shutdown the computer.
I have read in to a book tha i must add into the file /etc/shutdown.allow all the users which can turn off the pc.
I have done this......
I log in as user
and i write shutdown -h +10
i take the following message command not found
Root can use this command....What i am doing wrong? plz help me

it will not be on their path, as it lives in /sbin which should not be accessible to a normal user. either add /sbin to their path or run it directly with the full path.
