ShutDown

Hello Again

I had set up a user with the LinuxConfig in Gnome Windows enviorment. I gave that user permission to allow ShutDown of the system, this worked for the longest time. Recently While in the X11 Windows it crashed bad, couldn't do anything with it so I just shut off the pc. Now the user I allow to give the shutdown command can no longer give it, instead I get this message userhelper must be setuid root. I looked this up in the man pages to no avail. Can anyone help me with this? And can you point me to the log that would show why my system crashed so hard?

TIA

Dave
