Cool Shifting Keyboard Layouts!

I am using redhat 9 and i dont know how to edit the XF86Config file and the /etc/sysconfig/i18n file in order to be able to shift the keyboard layout from english to greek. i have added fonts that support greek and i can use them without problem in english. i would prefer to switch languages by using the alt-shift combination. However i dont want to have a desktop menu in greek. THANX in advance!

If you were using KDE you could do it like this:
K Menu -> Config -> KDE -> Accessibility -> Keyboard Layout.
From there click "Enable keyboard layouts" then from the Primary layout pull-down menu you can select Greek, then Apply.

To do it from the XF86Config-4 file first you must change the Option "XkbLayout" "us" to Option "XkbLayout" "el"
