Shell login greeting.

Hello. When I ssh into my box, the first thing I see is:

Code:
Linux ubuntu-LAMP 2.6.20-15-server #2 SMP Sun Apr 15 07:41:34 UTC 2007 i686

The programs included with the Ubuntu system are free software;
the exact distribution terms for each program are described in the
individual files in /usr/share/doc/*/copyright.

Ubuntu comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, to the extent permitted by
applicable law.
Last login: Fri May  4 15:38:45 2007 from 192.168.1.100

How do I change that? Preferably I would like it to show the time, cal, uptime.

thanks.

the only thing in /etc/issue is

Code:
Ubuntu 7.04 \n \l
I found it in /etc/motd, but now, how would I go about making a simple script to add the time, cal and uptime to the motd?

Spell your words out, please.

And all the OP added were simple commands, like "date", "cal", etc., to the profile. And please note that this thread is THREE YEARS OLD. What are you asking and what are you trying to do?? Be best to open your own thread, for your own question.
