sharing user information / authentication across DNS / Mail / Web server

I am new to Linux and Linux System Administration.
We are proposing to have separate DNS Server, Web Server, Email Server and a backup server. Linux Red hat ev is installed in all the machines. What type of User authentiaction is to be created to have common authentication across the servers. For configuring the servers i presume the respective configuration files have to be edited in the correspoing machines and the DNS Server has to be configured to route the request to other servers. Is it OK

If you don't want to create custom scripts to push out local authentication to each machine like a lot of places do, just setup an LDAP server for authentication.

Good place to start is
