share files on two connected linux pcs

H i friends,
I have connected two pcs one having novell linux and other redhat linux with direct cable. Now i want to share some folders on each of the machine. How can i do that?

you need to go into your system configuration and make sure that sharing is allowed. Then right click on the folder that you want to share and choose share (!)

for any specific problems /uncertainties, post back.

Heh - what is the distro, what desktop/window manager are
you using? You have at least two feasible options:
a) NFS
b) SaMBa
