Setting permissions

I have an exported directory that other systems connect to via nfs.

My problem is that when users create files in the directory they get the permissions rw-r-r.

The files have to be writable to the group with rwxrwx-r--

How do I get the files to be created with these permissions??

I do not have the option of changing the umask for the entire system.
Just that directory should have those permissions.
I cannot create a different group.

How do I do this?

Chris

If you haven't done that already, make sure all permissions match i.e. permissions for the directory where files are being created and the permissions in exports, because the general rule is that the strictest rules apply when there are differences.

From what I can tell, the fstab settings r,w are correct.
I don't think this wrong.
