server crashes constantly

I got a new server on a Fedora Core 2 OS, Celeron 2.4, 512MB RAM. It keeps crashing for some odd reason and I have no idea how to track it down.

I turned off melange, Interchange and checked all background running processes listed in WHM (IRCD, eggdrop, etc). I updated Apache, Server Software, cPanel (stable).

I have no idea what else to do.

Tinkster 10-16-2004 09:14 PM

How does the crash manifest itself?
What happens afterwards?

Cheers,
Tink

You still didn't mention what crashes, and what
the crash does?

Cheers,
Tink

The server crashes. I mentioned that in the first post. The memory load goes to red in cpanel (above 90%) and CPU usage goes sky high as well. I am not able to ping inside the server via ssh when this happens.
