serial line is not 8 bit clean

Hello everyon.I am getting the error message serial line is not 8 bit clean every time I try to log on to my isp.I have a actiontec v.92 callwaiting modem.I was wondering if it was a driver problem.I did have a usr 5610a modem with the v.92 upgrade.I got errors with it too until i download some new drivers for it.THats why I was wondering if it could be a driver issue.I hope it is not cause look like actiontec does not provide linux drivers.I would appreciate any help.

Thank You,
thunderrooster
