Hi,
I am looking around some howto documents on having SMTP authentication and encryption.
My objective, allow roaming users to send email on the sendmail server using SMTP AUTH and encrypt the username/pwd when sending over to sendmail server.
Currently I temporary put in the ISP domain to the relay-domains for them to send emails. I am using Slack 9, sendmail 8.12.9.
Search the sendmail newsgroup and various forums and found the following which did not help me much. (see below)
Appreciate if anyone could point me to any other sites that are not listed below. Better still it's related to slackware 9.0.

(do not know how to start, not enough information to start)

(got stump at re-compiling sendmail with SASL feature, too used to using packages)

(do not know how to start, information too technical to start)

Make your certificate:
cd /usr/share/ssl/certs <--- do not have this dir (after installing cyrus)
