When I send mail from a RH6.2 server, it includes the hostname in the domain string of the mail, eg:

If I send one as 'user' from


it SHOULD only read as being from


but instead it reads as being from


which is the problem. I've not had too much luck trying to resolve this any help greatly appreiated!

Edit your file. It'll either be located in the /etc subdirectory or the /etc/mail subdirectory. Change the line that reads:
