SEmi-transparent windows managers??


Hi,

I've seen one or couple of those WM's where you can make a windows semi-transparent, which lookz pretty nice.......WHere can i find one? What's its name?

And if possible give me a link or two on how to change WM under Linux. BUt if not, thats ok i can do a search myself and come back if still no success

try "liquid" for KDE... u can search it within this forum if I remember correctly. note, however that I think you'll need a quite recent PC with enough RAM to have it work decently

How about blackbox? I've checked out some of the screenshots at themes.org and think it's pretty good. But i could'nt download BlackBox at http://blackbox.alug.org/, the link doesn't work. WHere can i find it?

My other question is that: There are many Wm's and there are many themes for EACH different WM's. For me to be able to use a particular theme, i have to have the WM thats made for it right? Right? thats my qs.

2) well of course you need the right manager. Try crashing your pick up truck and putting a rolls royce wing on it...
