Segoe UI (font) alternates for Linux

Hi,

Microsoft uses this new font in it's new Windows Vista, and Office productlines called Segoe UI. It is really easy to read, and I must say it is one of the most easy to read fonts I have seen.

But it is a Microsoft product, and of course proprietary.

I am wondering if there are any good alternates to Segoe UI, that is looking just as good, but for free?

How about the Mac fonts, Lucida Grande and Lucida Mac?

More here:
If you don't want to do that either then just use the DejaVu fonts for everything. They're very beautiful, they have great Unicode support, and they're designed to be used in Linux. DejaVu Sans, in particular, is very similar to Lucida Grande.
