"segmentation error" when issuing "useradd" command through terminal with RH 9.0


need someone help,

I will get a "segmentation error" by issuing a "useradd xxx" from terminal with RH 9.0, have no problem to add users from KDE Windows utility.
Any one have any suggestion to fix this problem ?
