screwed up .vimrc
 

I had got a .vimrc file from a friends have by mistake overwritten my file... now I wanted to get back my settings... but an unable to do that...

I tried to get the default settings by reinstallating vin6.2, but that didn't help in getting the default settings...

Can someone tell how I can get back the default settings for vim?

I think if you just remov ethat files it will rever to the defaults.

I had removed .vimrc...
but then it wouldn't identify C programs as it used to do earlier...
Before my adventure, all the key words, int, flaot etc were shown in different colors... and I don't remember making any changes for that purpose...
