Screensaver tesseract (the 4d shape, not the software)

Hi,

Red Hat used to have a screensaver (around 2000?) of a rotating tesseract. Is that available somewhere?

There are gifs of rotating tesseracts on wikipedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesseract

and variations on google images. But the RedHat screensaver was a wire figure (not tubular) with individually coloured edges, and one could control the speed of rotation.

I'd really like the RedHat screensaver to be available again, not just for myself.

Alternatively, any hints on how to get started writing such a thing?

Thank a lot! Chas
