Scientific Linux (RH 5.3) Wi Fi Problem


Friends,

I'm unable to set up the wireless network in my Scientific Linux 5.3. The result of following commands is -

[root@slinux ~]# iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

sit0 no wireless extensions.

While using system-config-network it gives error when trying to setup eth0 as wireless....!!!

For broadcom chipsets, there are some works to do...

check this and follow instruction given

and this also (check your PCI ID if matched with those in the site)

NB: next time when posting 'lspci' please provide PCI ID (lspci -vn)
