sanding mail from the command line


Hi everyone

I work with RH 7.3. I want to know how I can make dns querys from the command line ?

also how can I sand mail from the command line to any one In the world?

for dns use
dig yourserver.com

for mail you can use pine which isn't really comandline but it's nice and usefull for console

of just use the "mail" command:

echo hello i am an email | mail -s "test email" someone@somwhere.com
