Question rsync error: IO error encountered - skipping file deletion

I am trying to use rsync to keep 2 machines in sync. I get the following error sometimes. If I rerun the rsync it usually works.

IO error encountered - skipping file deletion

Congrats.

Or did you have a question?

The message means rsync encountered an error and so to be safe did not delete anything. There should be more errors before that that would have clues.
