RSYNC Directory Structure?

Guys - I get a bit confused with the RSYNC command on keeping identical directories on two different servers mirrored / identical. Some times if my folder path is not correct, I end up something like:

/home/user/user/<data_in_user_folder>

So I am trying to copy everything from server1 /share/pub/ to match server2 /share/pub/

Would the following be correct to run from server2 assuming that server1 is the master?

Code:
rsync -avz --delete -e ssh root@10.1.1.24:/share/pub /share/

LOL - OK. I am scared to try it on a prod server but I have no choice. I need to sync the data that has been changed since my last tar over ssh.
