RPM not working properly

I'm trying to install a package that has been half installed (it crashed or something during original install).

Now, when I try to install I get this message:

# rpm -i specialix_riotools-3-6.i386.rpm
package specialix_riotools-3-6 is already installed

When I try to uninstall, I get this message:

# rpm -e specialix_riotools-3-6.i386.rpm
error: package specialix_riotools-3-6.i386.rpm is not installed

Can anyone help me figure this one out please?!?!

What do I do NOW?

Thanks!

I've tried that and it didn't work. Good idea though.

Now what?

Now what?
rpm -qa|grep special
should show you all the packages by that name
next try to uninstall that with
rpm -e
(sorry for not replying earlier)
