routing, firewall, cache proxy tutorial

Does somebody know a good site where i can find a tutorial about routing, firewall, cache proxies?
I am almost a newbie, what networking concerns. The tutorials shouldn't be general and theoretical; they should practically show how to setup and configure these stuff.
Thanks

I suppose what I was trying to say is that that's
quite a task, and having three closely related
things to learn in parallel seems quite hard.

People who can give you a word of advice
on what you're doing, so to speak.

Cheers,
Tink

What do you want to do. The easy way is to get an old cheap pentium 1 or 2 box or something and install smoothwall and it does all the routing, firewall, cache etc you need for a small network...
