RH8: how to add new fonts in Konsole?

In Redhat8 and KDE, I do not like any of the fonts available for Konsole: Courier, Courier 10 Pitch, Lucidatypewriter, Luxi Mono, Monospace. The Courier in particular have serif that makes then pretty difficult to read.

How can I get my RH7.2 fonts back in Konsole? Is there any way to add to the default selection I mentioned above (ie: adobe-courier).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Michael

could you install some new fonts in a folder under /usr/lib/X11/fonts or /usr/share/fonts pretty sure it is something like that, you'll have to look into it...

and once you do that i think you have to add the path to the new font folder in your XF86Config and then ctrl-alt-backspace to kill X and then restart the font server which i think it is /etc/init.d/xfs -restart.

that is a pretty sketchy explanation, i never did it befoer personally and someone might be able to back that up or add something i missed or just confirm that its accurate...
