reset default permissions for /etc

hi all,

I am using the Kubuntu distrubution and I changed, wrongly, the permissions for the directory /etc and its subfolders. Could any one tell me how to change back the permissions of this directory to the default one?

thanks in advanced.

there is no "undo" button. to change etc back to the a sensible default, you'd run "chmod 755 /etc"
