Rename Putty Title
Hi!
I have a Windows XP Professional machine that I use to connect to putty on my Linux Box. I will sometimes have 4 or 5 Windows open (of putty) and it gets confusing. The name of the window is the hostname. So they all have the same name. How do I rename the title of the putty Window? I expect there is someway to do it from bash, because if I SSH to another host inside the putty window it changes the title... THanks, David |
On the configuration tab (Window -> Behaviour), there is a textbox allowing you to change the window title. See this page:
