Rename Putty Title

Hi!

I have a Windows XP Professional machine that I use to connect to putty on my Linux Box. I will sometimes have 4 or 5 Windows open (of putty) and it gets confusing.

The name of the window is the hostname. So they all have the same name.

How do I rename the title of the putty Window?

I expect there is someway to do it from bash, because if I SSH to another host inside the putty window it changes the title...

THanks,

David

On the configuration tab (Window -> Behaviour), there is a textbox allowing you to change the window title. See this page:

http://helix.nih.gov/new_users/putty/ (search for "Window Title" to get there fast)\

I like your tag.

I agree that that is the best accelerator.

For those who do not know 9.81m/s is gravity.
