Removing Linux from a second hard drive

I recently downloaded RedHat Linux and thought I would try it out. I installed it onto my second hard drive, with Windows XP Home staying on the first. This has set up a dualboot system and I can now quite easily choose between which OS I want to use at boot up via GRUB v 0.91. I now want to get rid of linux as I require the second drive in another computer. What is the easiest way to remove linux and get back the normal boot up that takes me straight into Windows XP?

Hi jstroud99, welcome to lq. Simply format the second drive once you've installed it, then put whatever os you like on it. To reclaim your mbr, you can boot from startup floppy disks or CD-ROM, choose repair option during setup, and run Recovery Console. When you are logged on, you can run FIXMBR command to fix MBR.
good luck.

Have a look in the XP install CD for a file fixboot.exe

Instructions at http://www.tweakxp.com/tweak1178.aspx
end of the page,
start from point 6) Insert your XP CD and boot from it.
