removing fedora core 5 and grub boot loader
I want to remove the GRUB boot loader from my system, but i don't know how. I currently have fedora core 5 installed to a secondary partition, along with windows XP. I can use partitionmagic 8 on winXP to remove the other partitions, but how do i remove the boot loader so my computer will only boot to XP? I have a system restore disk that came with my computer, but it can't do anything but restore windows (it wont let me run any commands). I know you can use a bootable floppy, but this computer is a new laptop with no floppy drive.
Basically, im very stuck, and if i can't get help then i might try using norton ghost to mirror my computer, restore windows, and restore the mirror that was taken with Ghost. But i have really don't want to go through all that trouble.
Any suggestions would be great.
