removing a file (--exclude is the name of the file)
Hey folks -
Apparently while writing a backup script, I have accidently created this file, called --exclude
Now, when I try to remove this file using rm I get an unrecognized option '--exclude' because RM thinks I'm trying to state an option.
I tried rm --exclude to delete and that didn't work.
I tried rm *exclude to delete and that didn't work.
I tried rm "--exclude" and that didn't work.
I tried rm -i * and that didn't work
I tried mv --exclude new and that didn't work.
Anyone have any ideas?
