May I ask what it is about Linux you don't like or what feature you need from XP?

I need xp for running adlelo software and pc america software

This is a volunteer forum; expecting/asking people to hurry up and answer you 'ASAP', is fairly rude.
Then you should go to Microsoft's forums, and ask them how to install their operating system. They have MANY documents about how to install XP...and you ARE aware that XP isn't going to be supported AT ALL in a short time? Even the POS software systems that are grandfathered in right now are going away.

Since you're PAYING for Windows XP, and you need help installing it, contacting the people you paid (i.e. Microsoft) would seem like a good idea.

Just make erase and make new partition in windows setup. Note that windows xp are no longer supported.

The same way you remove any os, format the harddrive

Installing Windows XP is a very bad idea.

Edit: Posting the same question multiple times is at least as bad as installing Windows XP.

Using DBAN just to erase a Linux installation is overkill, puts unnecessary stress on the hardware and therefore not recommended (and possibly even bad advice).

Usually it is enough to use the Windows installer to remove the Linux partitions and go ahead with the installation. From my experience, XP can sometimes have problems with Linux partitions and refuses to start from the installation CD, in that case overwriting the MBR with zeros will be sufficient to be able to start the installer.

Please keep in mind that, as posted already by other members, Windows XP has reached its end of life (unless you are one of the few large corporations that are still receiving support), which means that there are no bugfixes and no security updates. Do not use such a system for critical data or processes, like online banking.

You don't need to "remove Linux". Just install whatever OS you want. One of the questions an OS installer will ask you, no matter what OS it is, is something like "Do you want to erase the entire disk and install this OS?" Just answer "yes" to that question, and you're done. If you are installing an OS and it doesn't know how to "erase the entire disk", you're probably better off choosing a different, more intelligent, OS for your computer.

Only time I have stressed a hard drive myself sorry to say is after a fresh Windows XP install and then the miles and miles
and miles of KB upgrades till the hard drive locked up.

If you search for "linux point of sale" and "linux restaurant" you'll see that there are alternatives to what you were thinking of using.

Not only is winsxp unsupported, but, you may not be able to activate. Also if you didn't download & save the service packs & updates you may not be able to get them.
