Remote XSession Logouts
I'm running 5 thin client servers where my users connect and work using remote XSessions (via XMDCP). What I would like to know is how to force a logout of a user from the server. I have some accounts lock up sometimes and I just need to log them out from the server and then have them re-login from the terminal. As of now I just login as the client via SSH and then kill their gnome-session. But I would like a cleaner way to force a log out.

You should look inside XMDCP manual. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

You could kill their shell from the server, that should do it.
