reiserfs problems after psu failure

Hi there,

My psu failed whilst i was out last night, and obviously the computer hadn't been logged out and shut down correctly.

I have today replaced the psu with a new one, but my reiserfs 3 partitions are working incredibly slowly.

i was wondering what can i do about this?

thanks for any help
Mike

hmmm this is strange,

it seems much faster and back to normal after a reboot, i'm now really concerned as to what's going on.

does anyone know of a utility that i can check the file system with?

problems in linux don't just magically fix themselves, i know this much through experience...

maybe it was just a little glitch or something,

after discovering fsck which i hadn't heard of before i checked the disks using a live disk and no errors are showing up at all.
