ReiserFS partition resize (Suse)

I noticed an option to resize partitions in the Partitioner tool in Yast. How safe is it to resize my root (ReiserFS) partition? I want to assign the extra space to /home.

All my partitions (including Windows) are on the same disk.

I did some search, but the answers I found are really old.

Thanks.

There is always a risk when you play with partitions. I've learned this the hard way, never trust any program no matter how many times it has worked before, it has a risk of messing up 'next time'. Save all your stuff, back it up. Then do it.
