reiser vs. ext3

I installed gentoo and they recommended you use the reiser file system. I went and used the ext3 because I have always used. Which one is better, or the advantages of either?

This link was quite helpful to me. From what I can tell, reiser is a little more efficient than ext3.

Once you've read all that stuff, go with reiser. It's more efficient and treats files better. I've lost some stuff due to ext3 that never happened with reiser.
