redhat linux client server installation
 

dear forum
i have redhat enterprise 5 linux cd's.i want to install linux on LAN
in such a way that users are created on server and these users can
be logged in from client(other than server pc).how can we achieve
this type of configuration.and also which type of installation package
(that is desktop,server,workstation)needed and on which pc.and how to configure this type of network.my email id is

If I understand it correctly, you might need to set up NIS:

NIS or LDAP....

You can setup Red Hat Directory Server as an LDAP server...for centralized administration of users...
