RedHat 8.0 XMMS Problem

I cannot listen to the Shoutcast audio streams I normally listen to with XMMS on RedHat 8.0.I didn't have this problem with 7.3.Below is from RH 8.0 release notes:

"Due to patent licensing, and conflicts between such patent licenses and the licenses of application source code, MPEG-1/2 audio layer 3 (mp3) support has been removed from applications in Red Hat Linux such as XMMS and noatun. Red Hat suggests the use of Ogg Vorbis™, an open, non-proprietary, patent-and-royalty-free compressed audio format".

Is there a way solve this problem? Is there a configuration for Qgg Vorbis that I'm missing? Can I uninstall the current XMMS version & install the one from RH 7.3?
