Angry Redhat 8.0 workspace switcher does not save !!!

Either I am missing something, or Gnome on Redhat 8.0 is missing something even bigger: after logout, Gnome Workspace Switcher forgets your workspace names and comes back to "Workspace 1", "workspace 2", etc...
This happens although I checked Menu>Extras>Preferences>Sessions>"Automatically Save Changes To Session".

I cannot believe such a basic feature is not available on one of the most advanced GUI available (GNOME). Please tell me I am missing something.

Did someone get this Workspace Name Saving feature working properly on Redhat 8.0? This would help me a lot. Thank you in advance for taking the time.

JNZ
