Redhat 8.0 Monitor Issue

I am trying to run Redhat 8.0 in GUI mode and when it starts the monitor just goes into suspend.

I've tried running redhat-config-xfree86 and it just does the same thing when you run that utility.

I'm trying to run it on an older Packard Bell monitor. The computer works on normal newer monitors. Any suggestions??

Thanks!
Tim

Try XFree86 -configure ...
if that doesn't do it, find your monitors
horz and vert frq and do the setup using
xf86config...

Cheers,
Tink
