redhat 2.1 server user accounts

On my redhat 2.1 AS server i was going through webmin, and i have about 30 local accounts root, apache, operator.gopher. nfsnobody etc.... i just would like to know if all these accounts are actually required, i know the root acount is, but can all the rest be deleted. This is only a home network so i have only need root and my normal login account.

I picked it up from my brother a while back, he wanted to know if it was any good so i said i would setup a server and see how it goes, but i want to change, there are only a few updates available for it anyway, probably go to mandrake 9.2.

He's running AS 2.1 (Advanced Server) which is not that out of date. Their current version is 3.

As for the original question, if you are not using those services that correspond to the accounts, they can be deleted.
