recording raw binary data as an MP3


Hi, how would I do this? I ask because I love amusing myself by catting binary data into /dev/dsp and listening to the result, and I would like to save the results as an MP3. I know it's weird, but is it possible?

i dont know if random data will always be vaild .WAV format, it might be try pipeing it through an mp3 encoder.
