Reading binary files on CDROM

I have a CD written on Windows. When I try to read it in my Linux box (automounted), the binary files appear to be modified. For example, I can't read a zip file from the CD, which seems fine when read on the PC. Any suggestions? Do I need to mount the CD differently?

Thanks,

Dave Forslund

Reading CDROM on Linux

I'm sorry for being so vague. The files can be read, but checksums of the binary
files fail. Thus a .zip file can't be opened because of the checksum failure. .xls files
can't be opened because of a bad data format. Text/ASCII files are fine.
